Lease Termination Letter

A lease termination letter is written to inform the landlord about the planned termination of a lease.

If the letter is being sent as a hard copy, then it should be in the proper business format, otherwise, if the letter is being emailed, it should have an appropriate subject line and proper grammar.

How to Write
  1. Inform him/her of your address and termination date.
  2. Tell them your phone or e-mail so that they can contact you if there are questions or issues.
  3. Inform them of your new/forwarding address so that they can return your security deposit.
